School Starts Monday!

     The start of this school year is different than every other school year since I've become a teacher.  Yesterday I wasn't busy getting my classroom ready for new 4th graders.  I was busy checking on teachers to see if there was anything I could do to make their day or start of the year any better.  I am the new Instructional Coach for 2nd & 3rd grade teachers in Del Norte County.  I met with 16 of my teachers yesterday, they were all in good spirits ready to start the year off.  I am so excited and honored to work with a group of talented, creative, caring, and dedicated teachers.  I can't wait to work with them and secretly I can't wait to learn from them.  They have such a wealth of knowledge that I want to tap into.

     So to all the teachers who are starting school on Monday, good luck!  You are appreciated more than you will ever know.
